About the Steve Miller Band
One of rock music’s all-time greats, the Steve Miller Band has sold more than 30 million records in a career spanning more than 40 years. Miller’s trademark blues-rock sound makes him one of the key artists in classic rock radio.
The Steve Miller Band has posted three number one hits, earned an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers golden note award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The music of the band has become a brand name millions of rock fans have come to trust.
The band’s latest album Let Your Hair Down was released on April 18. The album was recorded at Miller’s own recording label, Space Cowboy Records. The new album tops off one of the busiest years of Miller’s career. In addition to the release of the album Bingo! last year, Miller led a sold-out tour across the United States and Canada, and revisited Europe for the first time in more than 25 years with a victorious round of dates including a sold-out Royal Albert Hall concert in London that was filmed for DVD release.
The Steve Miller Band has become one of the centerpiece attractions of the summer rock concert season, playing 60 or more shows every year.
